Our first meeting January 18th

At our first time together we all received our books. There are few books left to purchase at Journey. Let me know if you need one. You can also buy this book at CBD and Amazon. The price is $10.

Since we just received our books, we discussed what 'Walking in Faith' meant to each of us. We would like to hear your thoughts on this too. Some thoughts that were brought up on Thursday:
- Walking in Faith doesn't always make sense which brings us to trusting God more.
- Walking in Faith requires us to give God the small things in our life along with the big.
- And the 'open hand' illustration. Where faith is described as a hand letting go not clingin on.

What about you? Let us know. We are so glad we live in an age where we can involve those of you that can't be there in person on Thursday. So glad you have joined us!

Walking in faith to me is sometimes scary. You may be alone in the whole matter, but some how you know every thing will be OK. It is like sticking up for something you believe in that no one else does.

trusting His heart when you can't see His hand. and walking means making progress, not sitting still. i believe there is a time to stand still and a time to move forward...

Let him drive without my constant interruptions. Being a passenger willingly, without questioning his ability to drive or the road He will take to get me there. I've read the first chapter and have some thought provoking questions, so let me know when you are to that point. Just a thought...why not let this be a group blog? That way we don't have to go to the comment section but can read everyones thougths on the main page?
